Shed and Car Burglaries on the Rise in Haddon Twp.
Police report numerous incidents near South Park Drive this week.
Haddon Township Police have stepped up patrols near South Park Drive in the Bluebird section of town to combat a rash of shed and vehicle burglaries this week, a police report said.
The concentrated effort also includes the Strawbridge School area. Numerous burglaries have been reported from Tuesday to Friday this week in overnight hours.
Police chased a bike theft suspect on foot near Morgan Avenue Friday morning. A patrol officer saw the man on a bike which he allegedly quickly discarded when approached. Subsequently a chase ensued and the man escaped, heading toward Collingswood.

The bike had been stolen from a shed on Morgan Ave. No arrests have been reported.
