Haddonfield Public Works Pulls All-Nighter During Storm

Extra emergency responders were also added during the overnight shift at Haddon Fire Co. No. 1.

At least five plows worked overnight in Haddonfield to clear streets of snow in the wake of the third storm to hit the Delaware Valley this winter season.

Commissioner John Moscatelli, the borough director of public works, said the overnight plowing is standard operating procedure during a large storm.

But public works wasn't the only department working overtime.

Extra emergency responders were also added during the overnight shift at Haddon Fire Co. No. 1, Commissioner Neal Rochford, the director of public safety said. Rochford also said there were several fender-bender accidents reported during the storm, but none were serious.

Officials advised parents and students to allow extra time for travel Thursday when school and municipal buildings reopen.
