Rep. Jon Runyan to Meet with Brain-Injured Veterans at Bancroft

Runyan will visit veterans receiving Bancroft services through a pilot program by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Rep. Jon Runyan (R-3) will visit Bancroft Brain Injury Services—and the veterans the nonprofit serves—tomorrow.

Runyan, a former Philadelphia Eagle, plans to tour Bancroft's Lebensfeld Center in Cherry Hill beginning Aug. 16 at 9 a.m. Runyan will tour the facility and meet with veterans there as patients receiving treatment for brain injuries. The visit will highlight the type of rehabilitative care provided to wounded service personnel.

After the tour, Runyan will answer questions and listen to any comments the veterans may have. Runyan has a longstanding interest in the backlog of claims filed at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
