Surprise, Surprise, Work Finally Being Done on Park Blvd. Bridge

We've got video from the site in Haddon Township to prove it.

Nearly a year after the stalled reconstruction of a tiny, two-lane bridge on Haddon Township's Park Boulevard, signs of life have finally appeared.

Construction crews have been spotted recently at the site, which has shutdown a well-travelled, three-town corridor since last September. Check out the video attached to this article.

The Camden County road project has been delayed by an error from one of the contractors, who poured the wrong mix of concrete on the bridge. Subsequent delays were caused by the pending winter and a key gas main that the local utility company didn't want to shutdown during winter months.

County officials blame delays after the heating season on a scramble to determine if the project could be completed without starting from scratch. It could not.

The new completion date is scheduled for next month.
