Tanner Street Reopening Celebration

The event marked the end of four years of improvements.

Submitted by the borough of Haddonfield:

The borough celebrated the completion of one of its biggest ongoing municipal projects, the reconstruction of Tanner Street in downtown Haddonfield, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony today.

The Haddonfield Commissioners ceremoniously cut the ribbon, midway on Tanner Street, accompanied by Tanner Street business owners. Some owners will have samplings of their wares displayed curbside. The ribbon cutting coincides with Haddonfield’s monthly First Friday event taking place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on May 4, during which artists and entertainers line the streets downtown; and the shops and restaurants offer in-store events, promotions and refreshments.
