Time to Register Fluffy and FIdo

Haddonfield reminds pet owners to register their dogs and cats before Jan. 31.

The Borough of Haddonfield requires the owners of dogs over the age of seven months, and cats over the age of six months to obtain licenses for their pets by Jan. 31 each year. The ordinance also provides for late fees to be charged to owners who fail to obtain licenses before that date.

In addition, all dogs and cats must be vaccinated against rabies. The borough hosts a free rabies clinic each year. The clinic is usually held on the last Saturday of April from 10 a.m. to noon.

Licensing forms can be found on the borough website, www.haddonfieldnj.org. If owners are re-registering their pet, copies of the form submitted last year may be turned in provided no information has changed and the rabies vaccine is still current.

All questions should be directed to Anne Frey, 856-429-4700 ext 225, email acfrey@haddonfield-nj.gov or in person at Room 101 at Borough Hall.

Reminders to renew your pet licence via email is available. Sign up for E-news on the borough home page.

Fees for licensing are:
