Bulldawgs Win Gold at Cooper Cup

 competed in two regattas last weekend at Cooper River, winning two gold medals on Sunday.

On Sunday Haddonfield had a great day at the Cooper Cup racing six boats against competition from 63 schools and clubs. The Haddonfield Women's Novice 4 won a gold medal finishing first in their race. On the boat were Mari Danella-Mercanti, Emily Stasi, Emily Deluzio, Allison Sparrow and coxswain Lisa Kommedal.

In a great battle all the way down the courses, the Men’s JV 8 of Christian Dobush, Nick Ruggeiro, Jonathan Dye, Nick Gangemi, Tom Kelly, Louis Epstein, Patrick Gilmartin, Paul Hurd and Cami Dews (coxswain) finished first and won the Gold Medal. 

On Saturday, Haddonfield had seven boats competing at the Garden State Scholastic Championships.  The team raced against 39 high school teams from across New Jersey.

This weekend, Haddonfield High School Crew will compete at the Philadelphia City Championships on the Schuykill River. Anyone who would like to cheer on the 'Dawgs in Philadelphia can contact crewboard@haddonfieldcrew.org for details on transportation.
