Pack-A-Sack for Homeless Children

Donations of school supplies to Haddonfield Lutheran Church helps children in Camden, Burlington and Gloucester counties start the school year off right.

When you're doing your back-to-school shopping, don't forget about less fortunate children who can't afford even basic school supplies.

Haddonfield's is working with the Interfaith Homeless Outreach Council (IHOC) to supply children of local homeless families with the tools they need to start the new school year.

Shopping “backpacks” (paper bags) complete with a list of needed supplies are available at the Lutheran church at 204 Wayne Ave. Donations of new supplies are also welcome and much needed. Pens, pencils, notebooks and notebook paper, glue, scissors, rulers, protractors, calculators, folders, spiral notebooks, markers, crayons and small pencil sharpeners are just some of the items kids need for school.
