Haddonfield's Alex Klein Among BizEd Students Honored at Rutgers-Camden
Ten area high school students win top honors at Rutgers–Camden's BizEd summer program.
Ten area high school students, including Haddonfield's Alex Klein, proved they are ready to become future business leaders by winning BizEd, an intensive two-week summer program at the Rutgers School of Business–Camden.
The students were awarded free Kindle Fire tablets for their accomplishments during the camp, which is designed to prepare the rising high school seniors for the rigors of collegiate business education.
From July 9 to 20, 50 teens from Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties were introduced to theory and practice of accounting, finance, management, marketing and technology.

The students worked closely with Rutgers–Camden faculty to examine business disciplines and learn the role technology plays in the business world.
In addition, they interacted with leading area executives who offered career guidance and provided up-to-the-minute insights regarding current job, business and economic trends.

The students, who were divided into teams of five, were awarded points for activities completed throughout the program. At the end of the program, the students presented a business case study to a panel of executives.
Students graduated from BizEd during a special ceremony at Rutgers–Camden on July 20. Each graduate received certification of his or her participation.
Other winners are: Rebecca Crofton (Williamstown /Williamstown High School); Alexandra D’Orazio (Glendora/Paul VI High School); Kayla Jarosiewicz (West Deptford/Gloucester County Institute of Technology); Sean LaVergne (Delanco/Riverside High School); Kyle Nealy (Burlington/Burlington Township High School); Vincent Russo (Sicklerville/Timber Creek Regional High School); Saanya Sethi (Cherry Hill/Cherry Hill High School East); Joshua Warren (Cherry Hill/Cherry Hill High School East); and Bryant Wong (Sicklerville/Timber Creek Regional High School).
