Weinstein, Moramarco Re-elected to Haddonfield BOE Leadership

Weinstein was re-elected president and Moramarco vice president.

Steve Weinstein and Glenn Moramarco were returned to leadership positions on the Haddonfield Board of Education during a reorganization meeting.

Weinstein was re-elected president and Moramarco re-elected vice president. Both were selected unanimously by the nine-member board last week.

. Moramarco, 53, is an assistant U.S. attorney in Camden, graduated magna cum laude from Harvard, holds master's in philosophy, political science and economy from Oxford University in England and a law degree from Yale University.

Neither are compensated for serving on the Board of Education.

Weinstein has been a major proponent of a proposed public purchase of the 19-acre Bancroft property on Kings Highway East next to the high school. Residents will vote on a $12.5 million bond referendum on Jan. 22 for the purchase. The intent is to acquire the property for current and future school development and to preserve open space.
