Bulldawgs Continue Winning Ways

The boys' soccer, field hockey and girls' tennis continue to roll.

Alex Johnston and Jack Speake each scored a pair of goals to lead the Haddonfield Bulldawgs boys' soccer team past Collingswood, 5-2, on Sept. 30.

Mike Harrer also scored for the Bulldawgs, No. 11 in the latest South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association Boys Top 20 poll. With the win, they improved to 7-1.

The Bulldawgs field hockey and girls’ tennis teams also won their contests Friday.

Cat Thomas scored twice and added an assist as the undefeated Bulldawgs beat Woodbury, 6-1, in a Colonial Conference field hockey game. Christine Wolf also had a pair of goals for the Bulldawgs who got a goal and an assist from Carolynn Clark added a goal and a goal by Tenaya Clark. The Bulldawgs are 10-0.

The girls’ tennis team keeps rolling along. It improved to 17-0 after blanking West Deptford 5-0.

Taylor Ng, Amanda Lanciano and Erica Pascocello each won their singles matches in straight sets and Catherine Senopoulos and Victoria Martinez won their first doubles match handily while Julia Harris and Sylvia Strauss were victorious at second doubles.
