Haddonfield Battles West Deptford in Girls Soccer Title Match [Photos]

A goal one second before the first half ended was the difference-maker, as Haddonfield was shocked by No. 2 seed West Deptford, losing its first game to the Eagles in three years in the South Jersey, Group 2 championship game Thursday.

West Deptford's Tina Furfari fired it into the left side of the net as the countdown rang out to end the first half, and the Eagles added two more goals in the second half to secure the win.

Haddonfield dominated on offense through the first half, but were stymied by Eagles keeper Maggie Davis, who broke up every chance—including a couple of breakaways—the Bulldawgs had in the first 40 minutes.
