Haddonfield Football Romps, Local Sports Roundup

The Haddonfield High School football team ran past Overbrook, 52-7, on Friday night, according to nj.com.

Haddonfield improved to 4-1 overall and travels to unbeaten West Deptford this Friday.

Quarterback Mike McLoughlin was 10-of-12 for 152 yards and a touchdown in the win.

Overbrook fell to 2-3.

Boys' soccer

West Deptford 1, Haddonfield 0: Gary Simmons posted the winning goal in the Eagles’ victory, off an assist from Tyler Robinson.

Goalie Perry Corsetti made six saves to preserve the shutout, as the Eagles improved to 14-0-1 on the season.

West Deptford overcame an impressive performance by Haddonfield goalie Jonathan Baxter, who made 13 saves. The Bulldawgs fell to 11-3.

Haddonfield 1, Collingswood 0: Ryan Ciemny put Haddonfield over the top with the only goal of the game, off an assist from Jeff Sabatini. Goalie Jonathan Baxter made two saves to preserve the shutout.

Girls soccer

Haddonfield 3, West Deptford 1: Haddonfield took a 2-1 lead into halftime and added an insurance goal in the second half to improve to 13-2 on the season.

Madison Castellano led the way with a pair of goals. Kate Walters also found the back of the net.

Carly Bonnet had a pair of assists, and Alyssa Fortino had another.

Gabby Sileo posted the only goal for West Deptford, with an assist from Sam Budd. West Deptford dropped to 11-2 for the season.

Haddonfield 4, Collingswood 0: Shallyn Hatcher had a goal and an assist as four different Bulldawgs put a goal on the board.

Kylie Kirk, Lauren Roberts and Mary Sabia each posted a goal. Kaitlyn Bonnet had three assists. Grace Baccare added another assist.
