Just Peachy Restaurant Week, Haddonfield Planning Board Meets

Theater, sailing and kids' art camp are also featured events.

The three-day Just Peachy Restaurant Week is underway. Tortilla Press chef-owner Mark Smith is leading a peach-specific menu charge across Collingswood and surrounding towns, with participating restaurants from Smith's own Tortilla Press Cantina in Merchantville to the Pop Shop, That’s Amore, Bistro di Marino, Benny’s Burger Joint and Casona joining in the fun.

The Haddonfield planning board is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Municipal Hall. An agenda was not immediately available.

The Cooper River Yacht Club in Collingswood on South Park Drive has sailing classes starting this week. The sailboats are supplied. Sessions are from 6 to 8 p.m. several times a week. Sessions are on the water and held rain or shine. Sign up online at cooperriveryc.org or call 856-869-9145.

Kids' art camps continue this week at the Markeim Art Center in Haddonfield. It’s organized around providing students with the opportunity to try a variety of mediums and develop new skills in a fun and safe environment.

Students enjoy studio and movement time as well as snack and game/outside play time in both a.m. and p.m. sessions. Each week, students create projects inspired by creative themes including painting, drawing, 3D sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, mixed‐media and more.
