Haddon Twp. Budget Vote, Haddonfield Historic District Rules: Week Ahead

The Haddon Township Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing and vote on a new municipal budget on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Hall.

A controversy surfaced last week over $28,000 in proposed cuts to the police department budget that may have included a reduction in funds for bullets and other items.

Haddonfield will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday to discuss new regulations for the borough's historic district. The meeting will be held at the Municipal Hall, 242 Kings Highway East.

The Westmont Farmers Market will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Haddon and Stratford avenues. It's open weekly on Wednesday evenings until October.

The Haddonfield Public Library will hold a board of trustees meeting on Tuesday at 8 a.m. at the library. Other activities this week include preschool school story time on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. and Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. A toddler time reading event will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. A resume building event will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

Haddonfield's Farmers Market will be open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Kings Court. It's open on Saturday's weekly until October.
