Teresa C. Principato, Matron of Haddonfield Family, Dies at 86

A memorial services will be held in Haddonfield on Tuesday.

Teresa C. Principato 86, of Mount Dora, FL. passed away on April 22. She was born in Drexel Hill, PA and moved to Florida from Haddonfield in 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church of Mount Dora and the Women’s Club of St. Patrick Church. Teresa enjoyed bingo and her memberships in the Country Club of Mount Dora Women’s Club and Bridge Club. She is survived by her husband Dr. Luigi Principato; they were married for 61 years. James S. Burns, Husband of Haddon Twp. BID Director, Dies at 57

Services will be held on Wednesday.

James Scott Burns, 57, of Haddon Township, died Saturday. He is survived by his wife, Kate (nee Douaihy), the Haddon Township business improvement district director; children J. Kieran, Matthew T., and Thomas B., all of Haddon Township; brother of Robert E. Burns and Kerry M. Burns. Scott graduated from Haddon Township High School class of 1974, and later from East Carolina University. He worked as a sales representative in the electronics industry for over 20 years. He loved officiating softball and baseball games. He was a member of Collingswood Presbyterian Church where he was ordained as a deacon and actively worked with the IHOC ministry. Robert J. Twitchell, Former Planning Board Chairman, Dies at 90

Services will be next Thursday for lifelong Haddonfield resident.

Robert James Twitchell, 90, a lifelong Haddonfield resident, died on May 2. Bob Twitchell gently drew his last breath of life surrounded by the love, tears and laughter of his family. He lived his life the way he hiked his beloved New Hampshire mountains, at a pace that enabled him to fully enjoy the journey. Born at home on February 7, 1923, Bob was a lifelong resident of Haddonfield. After graduating from Haddonfield Memorial High School in 1940, he studied at Maryville College in Tennessee before serving in the Army during World War II. Following the war he attended Lafayette College and graduated in 1950 with a degree in engineering. William V. Klammer, a 65 Club and Legion Post 38 Member, Dies at 84

Services will be held on Thursday.

William V. Klammer, 84, a longtime resident of Haddonfield died on Sunday. He was the husband of Ellen “Betty” (nee Richardson); father of Patricia K. MacCluen (Larry) and Steven R. Klammer (Susan), all of Haddonfield, and Paul A. Klammer (Emily) of Dresher, PA.  He was a grandfather of seven; brother of Lucile Roberts (Walter) of Marlton and Mildred Henderson of Lancaster, PA.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.    He worked for Conrail for 30 years and was a member of the Haddonfield 65 Club and American Legion Post 38.  Mr. Klammer’s family will receive friends on Thursday, May 9, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Grace Episcopal Church, 19 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield, where a funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. …

John S. Fasoldt III, 1990 HMHS Grad, Dies at 42

Services will be held Friday.

John S. Fasoldt, III, 42, of Merchantville, formerly of Haddonfield, died on Tuesday. He was the father of Carly and Catharine Fasoldt FL; son of John S. Jr. and Diana E. (nee Hass) Fasoldt; brother of Amy Garcia (Todd) of Sharon, MA and uncle of Rachael, Ryan and Evelyn Garcia. John graduated from Haddonfield Memorial High School in 1990 and then proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Following his service, he returned to school and became a diesel mechanic. John’s family will receive friends on Friday from 9  to 9:45 a.m., at Grace Episcopal Church, 19 E. Joseph J. Kelly, Nationally Recognized in Public Humanities, dies at 65

He was a 35-year resident of Haddonfield. Services are Saturday.

Joseph J. Kelly, Ph.D., 65, a 35-year resident of Haddonfield died Friday after a long battle with cancer. Joe was well-regarded throughout Pennsylvania and nationally as a leader in public humanities. He served as Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Humanities Council (PHC) from 1994 to 2011. He will be missed dearly by his wife Maureen (nee Connelly); his son Brendan, daughter-in-law Rhea Powell and grandson Malcolm Joseph (of Philadelphia);  mother, Lillian (nee Gallagher); and brothers James (of Philadelphia) and Michael (of Bensalem, PA). Harry C. Miller, Korean War Vet, Dies at 84

Harry C. Miller, 84 a longtime Haddonfield resident, died on Tuesday. He was the beloved husband for 58 years of Judith(nee Peters); father of Steven C. Miller (Cheryl) of Haddonfield, Donna J. Perkins (John) of Pennsauken and John P. Miller (Jan) of Rising Sun, MD; grandfather of Mike (Jess), Dani (Salvi), Sean, Kyle (Jenny), Ally, Brittany and Tyler; great grandfather of Charlie, Ryan and Alexa and brother of Jack Miller of North Wales, PA.  He is also survived by his dear friends “The McDonald’s Gang” with whom he often had breakfast. He attended Dobbins Vocational School and then proudly served in the Army on the front lines during the Korean War. Walter S. Ding, a Korean War Veteran, Dies at 81

Services will be held on Saturday.

Walter S. Ding, 81, a former resident of Haddonfield, died Tuesday. He was the brother of Yeut Hee Joung Louie of Haddon Township, Herbert H. Ding of Cherry Hill and Elizabeth D. Young of Mt. Laurel; and the uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents Sun Hop and Lee Ding and his siblings Henrietta Li, Richard Ding and Franklin Ding. Walter proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War.  Upon discharge from the service, he attended Lincoln Prep.  He then received his associates degree from the Spring Garden Institute of Technology. Helen E. Abrams(nee Endlein), 92, a longtime resident of Haddon Township, died on Thursday. She was the wife of the late Raymond L.; mother of Raymond K. (Judith) of Gibbsboro and the late Carl L.; mother-in-law of Edie Abrams of Collingswood; grandmother of Raymond T. and the late Melissa Abrams and great grandmother of Chloe E. Abrams. Mrs. Abrams had been a Cafeteria Worker at the Haddonfield Middle School for 23 years, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield for 56 years and bowled in the Haddon Fire Co. league for many years. Esther Felton Gray Died: She Worked at RCA for 40 Years

Services will be held on Friday.

Esther Felton Gray, 97, of Voorhees, died Sunday. She is survived by her cousins, Irene Mead (Russell), James Mead, Marlene Stewart (Paul), David Mead, Zachary Stewart, Corey Stewart (Lisa), Rachel Stewart, David Mead and Juliana Mead.  Miss Gray graduated from Hood College and was an executive secretary at RCA in Camden for 40 years.  Additionally, she was a member of the League of Women Voters and active in the Presbyterian Women. Family and friends are invited to her service, Friday, 11 a.m., in the Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield, 20 E.
