An accused serial bank robber who police say hit four local banks—including one in Audubon—was arrested Friday. Aquamena Hawthorne, 36, of Willingboro, was arrested in Camden after authorities tracked her down with license plate reader technology. Hawthorne is suspected in four local bank robberies running from June 26 through this morning. Her alleged hits include: June 26: Beneficial Bank, Beverly-Rancocas Road, Willingboro at 9 a.m. June 26: Susquehanna Bank, White Horse Pike, Audubon at 9:45 a.m. July 10: Susquehanna Bank, Route 130, Cinnaminson at 10 a.m. July 13: Wells Fargo Bank, Kings Highway, Cherry Hill at 10 a.m. In each case, Hawthorne allegedly demanded money from the bank tellers and told them she had a gun, though she never …
