Haddon Heights Man Dead from Gunshot in Camden

James Bell was shot in the head early Thursday morning. Police are searching for his killer.

A night of gun violence in Camden claimed the lives of two men, including one from Haddon Heights. James Bell, 33, was shot in the head and found dead on the street at 1:14 a.m. Thursday. Bell's body was discovered on the 1100 block of Sheridan Street in Camden, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office reported. Hours earlier, Faird George, 24, of Camden, was shot on the 500 block Erie Street. A relative took him to Cooper University Hospital, and George died there of his wounds. Also overnight, a 17-year-old suffered nonfatal gunshot wounds at 9th and Florence streets. The teen is being treated at Cooper University Hospital. Video Released of Suspected Shooter in Killing

The shootings happened at Popeye's Chicken on Mount Ephraim Avenue, which sits near the borders of Haddon Township and Collingswood.

Police are searching for a man they believe is responsible for a shooting that left one man dead and another injured in Camden on Tuesday.  Video of the man sought was captured at Popeye's Chicken on Mount Ephraim Avenue, which is the near the border of Haddon Township and Collingswood. The video was taken at 9:43 p.m. Tuesday. The shooting was reported minutes later. The Camden County Prosecutor's Office and Camden Police believe the man pictured shot Alvin Cushion, 24, of Camden; he later died. A 33-year-old Camden man was injured in the shooting, but survived. Both were in a 1997 tan Infiniti I30 at the Popeye's drive-through, police said. The surviving victim, who was shot in the leg, was found at the Sovereign Bank on Mount Ephraim …

UPDATE: Person of Interest Wanted in Lawnside Bomb Scare

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office wants to know if you recognize the individual in these photos. It could be worth $1,000 if you do.

The Camden County Prosecutor's office released surveillance photos Sunday afternoon of a person of interest in a bomb hoax that occurred in the Lawnside municipal building March 7. The individual seems to be a white man between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet tall, and the images were taken between 7 and 7:15 a.m. March 7. Around 8 a.m. on that day, a court clerk discovered a package in the elevator of the building. The device—a pair of road flares taped to two pipes—was designed to look like an explosive device. It was found in a bag addressed to Lawnside Mayor Mary Ann Wardlow written on it. Mount Ephraim Man Charged in Fatal Haddon Twp. Hit-and-Run

Timothy Polijczuk was charged Monday with leaving the scene of an accident that killed a 67-year-old Gloucester Township woman.

Haddon Township police arrested a 50-year-old Mount Ephraim man Monday and charged him in the fatal hit-and-run Sunday that claimed the life of a Gloucester Township woman. Timothy Polijczuk, 50, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with a fatality, causing death while driving on a suspended license and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license, according to a statement from the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. He was also issued numerous motor vehicle violations and was ordered held at the Camden County Jail on $192,500 bail. Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run in Haddon Township [UPDATE]

Joyce Putmon died after being struck by a truck on the Black Horse Pike. Police are searching for the driver who killed her.

Update 9:44 a.m.: The truck was found in Gloucester City, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office reports. The driver has been identified as well, but authorities have not yet released any information. --------- A 67-year-old woman was killed Sunday night by a hit-and-run driver outside of Rexy's Restaurant and Bar in Haddon Township's West Collingswood Heights section. Joyce Putmon of Blackwood was crossing the Black Horse Pike near Washington Avenue when a pickup truck struck her and fled the scene. Putmon was pronounced dead at Cooper University Hospital in Camden at 7:24 p.m. March 3. Gunpoint Robbery at Woodlynne Bank by Costumed Men

Two men brandish a gun while robbing the Sovereign Bank in Woodlynne. The FBI is searching for them.

Most robbers put on a mask or hoodie—not dress up like someone from the Village People to stick up a bank. The FBI and Camden County Prosecutor’s Office are searching for a pair of bank robbers, one dressed rather creatively, who held up at gunpoint the Sovereign Bank in Woodlynne on Feb. 27. The bank sits near the border of the West Collingswood extension in Haddon Township.  The pair entered the bank at 2400 Mount Ephraim Avenue at 10:20 a.m. and confronted a teller in the lobby. They displayed a firearm and followed her to the counter, where they received an undisclosed amount of cash. Both fled, likely on foot. Shooter Sought in Lawnside Slaying

Stephon Cushion was shot multiple times, said prosecutors, who are asking for the public's help in finding the gunman.

Authorities are searching for the person who fatally shot a 32-year-old Camden man inside a Lawnside home early Saturday morning. The victim, 32-year-old Stephon Cushion, was shot several times at his girlfriend's home on the 400 block of Company Street about 3:30 a.m., according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.  Cushion's girlfriend, and another woman at the home, were not injured in the shooting. After shooting Cushion, the gunman fled, prosecutors said. $2K Reward for Info in Camden Murders

Anyone with information on the killers of Arthur Banks, 41, and Rhonda Scott, 38, both of Camden City, could collect $1,000 apiece.

The following press release was issued by the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk and Camden Police Chief Scott Thomson announced reward money was being made available in two separate 2013 homicides in Camden. $2,000 in reward money has been made available, $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the death of Arthur Banks, and $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the death of Rhonda Scott.
