Haddon Twp. BOE Honors Albino and Caputi for Years of Service
Two BOE members say good-bye to board positions.
It was an emotional night for members of the Haddon Township school board during their monthly meeting Thursday. Board president Mark Cavallo read resolutions honoring Charles Albino and Wendy Caputi during their last official meeting as members of the board. "It doesn’t happen often when board members leave," Cavallo said of the resolutions. Albino served on the board since April 2006. He was unsuccessful in his bid for re-election in November. On the night of the election, Albino said “I looked at the position as one of service. I’m certain I’ll find something to do that is productive for the town.” Throughout his six-and-a-half years, the board dealt with unique and unprecedented issues.
