Bulldawgs Ready for Challenge of Regular Season
Haddonfield's girls' basketball team, led by senior Alex Marshall, is confident as season begins at Overbrook.
The first thing you realize when you meet Alex Marshall is that the Haddonfield senior enjoys life. Quick to smile, and equipped with an infectious laugh, the girls' basketball captain may have that disposition challenged this season, especially after a widely successful season just a year ago. "We're definitely in a transition phase but that doesn't mean our goals have changed," Marshall said. "I learned a lot last year and just because we're a bit young doesn't mean we are going to have a down year. I have a lot of confidence in my team, and we've had a great preseason. Now we have to be ready for the regular season." That wait will end today as the Bulldawgs open their season at Colonial Conference rival Overbrook in a 7 p.m. start. …
