It's the seventh year for the weekend favorite on Kings Court.
It's that time of year again. Fresh produce and crisp conversation will be in abundant supply as the Haddonfield Farmers Market kicks off its seventh season today. It's the third year the market has been located on Kings Court, after several years near the PATCO parking lot off of Kings Highway. The market is open from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October, rain or shine. A vendors list includes: Respond Bakery Music Saturday is being provided by Boulevard Express.

Fall is here, and what better way to celebrate than with apple picking in honor of Johnny Appleseed Day?
In children’s books, Johnny Appleseed is often portrayed as a fun, historical fellow who wears a cooking pot on his head and disperses apple seeds wherever he travels. Johnny Appleseed Day, celebrated on Sept. 25 each year, celebrates his birth, life, and generosity. John Chapman, aka Johnny Appleseed, was a Massachusetts-born philosopher and philanthropist, who, beginning in 1802, wandered through northern and Midwestern states planting apple nurseries. His trees fed many settlers, and he was loved wherever he went. Now the apple doesn’t fall far from the holiday. Haddonfield Patch will be there to help celebrate.
The Haddonfield Farmers Market kicks off its sixth season Saturday at Kings Court. The theme will be “Celebrating Our Sustainable Community” and Haddonfield Patch will there to help celebrate, too. Please come up and say hi and grab some free Patch swag. The new hours this year will be 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The borough environmental commission will hold a Green Fair at Kings Court on opening day. The commission and the borough Green Team will also be showcasing local merchant’s sustainability efforts.
