Haddon Township senior Kim Flacco will be one of 60 of Joe's family and friends heading down to watch the Super Bowl in New Orleans.
The Huck Finn’s Restaurant and Sports Bar is known for having some of the best shrimp po-boys and jambalaya in New Orleans. It’s also known as a great place to catch a sporting event with friends. By Sunday night, it may be known as the new home of the Joe Flacco Fan Club. Haddon Township High School senior Kim Flacco is one of about 60 of Joe’s family members and friends hopping on a plane today and heading to New Orleans. Joe is picking up the tab to ensure he'll have the people who mean the most to him as close as possible, including his cousin Kim. While Joe’s parents Steve and Karen Flacco will attend the game, the rest of the crew will watch from a private room at Huck Finn’s, sweating out every moment of Sunday’s Super Bowl XLVII …

Haddon Township field hockey player Kim Flacco was named to the All-South Jersey Second Team.
Kim Flacco knows a thing or two about athletic excellence. She was selected as a First-Team All-Colonial Conference field hockey player as a sophomore and junior, and most recently was chosen as a Second Team All-South Jersey member by the Field Hockey Club of South Jersey. “It’s really cool,” Flacco said. “It’s definitely an honor.” Residents of Haddon Township and those nearby in Audubon have come to expect nothing less from a member of the Flacco family. Athletic genes seem to flow rather naturally though the Flacco family. Kim’s older cousin, Joe Flacco, is one of the most well-known Colonial Conference graduates, making it all the way from Audubon High School to the Baltimore Ravens as a starting quarterback. Her cousin Mike has spent…

The Hawks scored two goals in the final eight minutes, but came up short in a 3-2 loss to Maple Shade in the Group 1 quarterfinals.
In the final 10 minutes of the Haddon Township High School field hockey team’s quarterfinal playoff game against Maple Shade, the Hawks fought for every loose ball, moved the ball fluently and produced two goals. The high quality of play demonstrated why the Hawks were a No. 4 seed and just how dangerous they could be. However, 10 good minutes wasn't enough to overcome a sloppy first half that saw No. 5 Maple Shade produce all of its offense in a 3-2 victory in the NJSIAA Central jersey group 1 quarterfinals. “Unfortunately, that has kind of been our M.O. this season and sometimes it has worked for us and sometimes it hasn’t,” Haddon Township coach Genevieve Hunter said of the late charge. “We keep stressing to them that it has to be 60 …

Kim Flacco scored her 78th and 79th goal of her career Tuesday in Haddon Township's 4-0 win over Haddonfield.
Coaches around the Colonial Conference all have the same question for Haddon Township High School field hockey coach Genevieve Hunter these days. “They keep asking me is (Kim Flacco) a senior yet?” Hunter said with a laugh. “I tell them, unfortunately she is.” Flacco has made a career out of tormenting opposing coaches, defenses and goalies with her relentless work ethic and goal scoring skills. And if it seems like she has been scoring on the competition for years, it’s because she has. A four-year starter, Flacco reached a personal milestone this week, scoring her school-record 78th and 79th goals. Making the moment extra sweet for Flacco was that her two goals helped the Hawks record a 4-0 win over local rival Haddonfield. “It feels …
