2. Philadelphia’s All Comedy Theatre Company, 1812 Productions, presents 1812’s My Funny Valentine at the Tin Angel, Sunday, Feb. 13 at 7:30 p.m. (20 South 2nd St., Old City, Philadelphia, website: tinangel.com)

Why go? You get arts and laughs. Headliner Fran Prisco, performs songs from his cabaret Break Up Songs for Valentine's Day. Dinner is 20 percent off for ticket holders at Serrano, the restaurant adjacent to Tin Angel. Diners get special reserved seating.

How much? $10 for show ticket, costs of dinner vary, but secure a reserved show seat. Menu can be viewed online.

3. EsspressIt Coffee Shop, Art exhibit all weekend with music and jewelry trunk show on Sunday (18 Haddon Ave., Haddon Township)

Why go? Enjoy a cup of coffee at a different cozy-spot than usual. Impress a Valentine with arts and crafts-frame masterpieces by Marlene and Cindy. Pick-up a sweetheart gift from the jewelry artist trunk show of Shelley August from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday and live indie rock music with Gordon Vincent, Sunday from noon to 2 p.m..

How much? Depends on you. Coffee, art and jewelry are for sale, along with delicious snack offerings.

4. Terhune Orchards Wine and Chocolate and New Jersey Wine Trail Weekend, Saturday and Sunday noon to 5 p.m., Lawrence, NJ (websites: terhuneorchards.com and newjerseywines.com/wine-trails.html)

Why go? Wine and chocolate. What more could a Valentine hope for?

How much? Participating wineries and farms throughout New Jersey will host tastings, which are generally free. Purchase of wine and other pleasantries is up to you. And remember, the key to a happy marriage: What’s hers is hers and what’s yours is hers.

5. Haddonfield’s Third Annual “Love is in the Air Valentine Extravaganza” (See shophaddonfieldnj.com)

Why go? Retail shops all over town will feature Love is in the Air specials on all kinds of merchandise and services. See website for more details and take a stroll through town in search of sweet deals.

How much? The stroll is free. Window shopping, also free. Buy somethingthat’s up to you.
